Job summary

Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP is seeking a hands-on Senior Software Engineer - AI, Agentic Applications, Enterprise Integration. You will design, build, and support enterprise applications, APIs, integrations, and AI-powered solutions across a Microsoft/Azure environment.

The ideal candidate is a full-stack engineer with strong C#/.NET and Python skills, experience delivering AI-powered systems, and the ability to work across backend, frontend, data, and AI domains.

Qualifications

• Strong full-stack experience with C#/.NET and Python.
• Hands-on Azure experience and cloud-native architecture.
• Experience with ASP.NET Core, EF, FastAPI, Git, CI/CD, Docker, and SQL.
• Experience building AI-powered apps including generative AI, RAG, AI agents.
• Knowledge of security, authentication, API security, and enterprise integrations.
• Ability to work across backend, frontend, data, and AI.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise applications, APIs, integrations, and AI-powered solutions.
• Develop secure, scalable REST APIs and integrations.
• Build AI-powered applications using Azure AI, generative AI, RetrievalAugmented Generation (RAG), vector search, AI agents.
• Develop data retrieval solutions using SQL, Databricks, data virtualization, and enterprise data platforms.
• Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize applications in Microsoft Azure.
• Implement modern software engineering practices including Git, CI/CD, automated testing, Docker, and secure deployment.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, data teams, business stakeholders, and end users.
• Create clear technical documentation and contribute to architecture, security, performance, and code quality.
