Senior AI/ML Engineer – East Coast/Remote

Our client, a fast-growing financial data services company, is expanding their AI/ML capabilities and seeking a hands-on AI/ML Engineer to lead R&D initiatives, develop innovative solutions, and mentor a small but talented team.

Location: Remote - reports to Atlanta, GA (some travel to Atlanta is expected)

Salary Range: Up to $170-200k + 15-20%

Benefits: Unlimited PTO, 401k Match, Comprehensive benefits etc.

What You’ll Do:

• Build, deploy, and optimize AI/ML and LLM-driven solutions (e.g. NLP, unstructured data analysis, RAG).
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to solve complex, data-heavy problems.
• Provide thought leadership, mentor junior engineers, and help shape our AI strategy.
• Contribute to both R&D projects and real-world product implementations.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years in applied AI/ML engineering (3+ with strong academic/industry background considered).
• Strong Python expertise (core requirement).
• Experience with LLMs, NLP, and related frameworks.
• Comfort with SQL and data-driven environments.
• Proven ability to collaborate, mentor, and contribute positively to team culture.
