Job summary

ASI Government seeks a Senior Consultant to support AI-enabled transformation engagements across our rapidly growing Department of War portfolio. You will help move AI, automation, and process-improvement initiatives from discovery through piloting, adoption, and scale, translating client needs into structured workplans, rigorous analysis, and executive-ready recommendations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting federal or commercial consulting engagements.
• Experience independently leading a defined workstream or major project component.
• Strong structured problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including polished presentations.
• Bachelor's degree and U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain clearance.
• Willingness and ability to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted day-to-day relationships with client stakeholders and represent ASI professionally.
• Support engagement leaders in managing client expectations, communications, and alignment.
• Structure ambiguities, gather information, and develop practical recommendations grounded in mission.
• Plan and facilitate working sessions, document decisions and next steps.
• Develop polished presentations, analyses, and recurring engagement reporting for leadership review.
• Lead defined workstreams from planning through delivery with milestones and dependencies.
• Coordinate across mission, data, and technical contributors for timely handoffs.
• Identify risks and mitigations, elevate matters requiring leadership decisions.
• Translate client needs into inputs for technical teams and track progress and outcomes.
