Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect/Engineer to shape secure software and platform solutions for cloud and on‑prem environments. You will lead AI-enabled cybersecurity innovations, craft reusable frameworks, and guide risk mitigation across the organization.

You will drive secure design, IAM strategy, and enterprise-grade security across teams while mentoring engineers and ensuring resilience and auditability in the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Formal training in software engineering/architecture with applied experience in system design and development.
• Advanced proficiency in one or more languages: Java, Python, C/C++, Node, or Golang.
• Experience planning, designing, and implementing enterprise-level security solutions with SDLC and Agile methodologies (CI/CD, Application Resiliency).
• Practical cybersecurity experience in AI/ML, Cloud, Infra, Mobile, Offensive Security, or Vulnerability Management.
• Extensive cloud-native experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) including Kubernetes, Lambda, ECS, S3, Aurora, API Gateway, and DevOps practices.
• Expertise in IAM principles (RBAC, OAuth2.0, SCIM, WebAuthN, OPA, PBAC) with encryption and risk management.
• Experience with CIS security baselines and configuration drift remediation.
• Proven record building scalable microservices, APIs, and high-availability databases; knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ.
• Strong cross-functional influence and ability to communicate complex concepts to executives.
• Experience using enterprise AI capabilities within work environments to support cybersecurity workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot secure solutions, producing secure, high-quality production code and reviewing code.
• Architect complex, scalable cybersecurity frameworks for cloud and on-premises environments, driving standardization across the organization.
• Continuously evolve security protocols by assessing controls, identifying gaps, and implementing improvements.
• Manage IAM protocols (RBAC, OAuth2.0, SCIM, WebAuthN, OPA, PBAC) and apply encryption, data security, and risk management.
• Translate complex technical issues to leadership to enable decisions on target state architecture.
• Mentor engineering teams and promote SDLC best practices and inclusive culture.
• Leverage enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate cybersecurity analysis and risk documentation.
• Drive reuse-first adoption of AI-assisted security validation within SDLC/toolchain.
