Job summary

Happen Bank in San Francisco is seeking an experienced compliance data analytics professional to develop and maintain reports and processes that support the Compliance organization.

You will tune BSA/AML monitoring models, support ad-hoc reporting, CRA reporting, and collaborate across teams on audits and regulatory exams.

The role requires 2–5 years of analytics, proficiency in SQL, RStudio, Python, and a background in fintech compliance; hybrid in-office schedule with relocation support.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years analytics experience with SQL, RStudio, Python.
• 2+ years compliance/financial crimes experience in a regulated financial institution (fintech preferred).
• Knowledge of BSA/AML laws and regulations (CAMs a plus).
• Experience using AI tools for analytics and pattern recognition.

Responsibilities

• Tune and enhance BSA/AML transaction monitoring models and watchlist screening.
• Streamline ad-hoc reporting and performance monitoring for compliance.
• Develop CRA reporting to support strategic planning.
• Support audits, exams, and regulatory reviews across Compliance, Tech, and Data teams.
• Conduct user-acceptance testing for new products/channels.
