Job summary

Pearson seeks an experienced Technology Solutions Advanced Specialist to lead complex, cross-system analysis for Pearson Professional Assessment initiatives. You will mentor peers, shape solution direction, and ensure scalable, maintainable technology solutions across product, engineering, data, and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• 5–8+ years of business analysis, business systems analysis, systems/product analysis, data analysis, or technology delivery experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives in Agile, hybrid, or enterprise environments.
• Experience with systems integration, APIs, data flows, reporting, operational workflows, and platform/process modernization.
• IIBA certification, Agile certification, Pearson partner certifications, IT-related badges or test assessments are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end analysis for complex initiatives involving multiple Pearson systems, workflows, data domains, integrations, teams, or stakeholder groups.
• Use AI-assisted analysis for complex requirement synthesis, gap detection, stakeholder alignment, process comparison, dependency identification, and data insight generation.
• Facilitate discovery workshops, decision forums, design alignment sessions, and cross-functional requirement reviews.
• Translate strategic business objectives into product/system capabilities, process models, integration requirements, data requirements, operational impacts, and backlog artifacts.
• Own requirements strategy, traceability, dependency analysis, impact assessments, and risk identification for complex or ambiguous work.
• Drive alignment between Product, Engineering, Architecture, CX, Data, Security, QA, Operations, and business stakeholders.
• Promote maintainable, reusable, and holistic solutions that reduce customization and technical debt.
• Define and improve templates, practices, and quality expectations for requirements, user stories, data mapping, and stakeholder documentation.
• Develop reusable AI prompts, checklists, and templates to improve BSA productivity and consistency.
• Provide advanced data analysis and insight generation to support decisions, prioritization, and reporting.
