Job summary

Randstad Digital in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Software Engineer/Architect to embed with a business team, building production-ready, AI-driven applications that transform daily operations.

You’ll develop full‑stack solutions using Java/Spring Boot or .NET on the backend and TypeScript (Angular/NestJS) on the frontend, architect AI workflows, and deliver iteratively with ongoing stakeholder feedback in a hybrid, in-office schedule on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science from a top program.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven backend experience with Java/Spring Boot or .NET (C#).
• Experience with frontend TypeScript and frameworks Angular or NestJS, plus RESTful APIs.
• Daily use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, OpenAI Codex) for production code.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in fast-paced Agile environments with build-demo feedback cycles.
• Willingness to base in Charlotte, NC with hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

• Develop full-stack cloud-native enterprise applications using backend Java/Spring Boot or .NET and frontend TypeScript (Angular/NestJS).
• Architect AI-driven workflows and multi-step agentic processes with human-in-the-loop gates.
• Lead requirements sessions, refinements, and live demos with business stakeholders.
• Maintain automated testing and CI/CD pipelines to ensure high quality.
