Job summary

Symbotic seeks a Senior Security Automation Engineer to design and build AI-driven automations and internal tools within the Information Security organization. The role is hands-on, autonomous, and focused on producing production-grade systems that support compliance goals set by leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI-driven automations and workflows.
• Build agentic workflows that reason through tasks and generate outputs.
• Automate security, compliance, and operational processes to reduce manual work.
• Integrate AI workflows with ITSM, IAM, SIEM, SOAR, GRC, ticketing systems, and cloud security tools.
• Develop secure human-in-the-loop approval patterns for high-risk actions.
• Create reusable workflow patterns, templates, and service components.
