Thales is seeking a Senior AI & Security Automation Engineer in Austin, hybrid. You will design, build, and maintain intelligent automation systems at the intersection of software engineering, AI, and cybersecurity.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/AI or related field; Master’s a plus.
• 9+ years in software engineering, security automation, or applied ML engineering; 4+ years in AI/ML/data/cloud/enterprise tech.
• AWS Bedrock: hands-on with agents, RAG pipelines, guardrails, and foundation models.
• OpenSearch: log analytics, vector search, and indexing for security telemetry.
• Serverless and event-driven: Lambda, EventBridge, Step Functions, ECS/Fargate.
• Security: IAM, Secrets Manager, KMS, WAF, API security, MITRE ATT&CK.
• LLM orchestration: LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex; semantic search.
• CI/CD and Git: GitHub Actions; IaC: Terraform/CDK.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and deploy multi-step AI agents and autonomous workflows.
• Build and maintain RAG pipelines over security runbooks and threat feeds.
• Develop event-driven automation pipelines and API connectors.
• Index telemetry into OpenSearch for fast querying and anomaly detection.
• Create CLI tools, ChatOps bots, and internal portals for security teams.
• Monitor pipeline health, token usage, and compute costs across tools.
