Amazon Inc. is seeking an AI Security Engineer in Austin, TX to secure cutting-edge AI applications. You will review code for security issues, build automation, and guide teams in secure design, partnering with developers across the organization.

You will lead threat modeling, perform code reviews, and develop AI security tools, with emphasis on collaboration, training, and risk assessments. This role emphasizes security-first AI delivery and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of threat modeling, secure coding, identity management, software development, cryptography, or related security experience.
• Experience programming in Python, Java, Go, Swift, JavaScript, or similar OO language.
• Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS and TCP/IP.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or 3+ years of IT security experience.
• Knowledge of industry-based security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques.
• Experience with AWS products and services.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain threat models for a variety of software projects.
• Perform manual and automated code reviews, primarily in Java, Python, and JavaScript.
• Develop AI security automation tools.
• Conduct AI security training and outreach for internal teams.
• Provide AI security architecture and design guidance.
• Independently solve AI security problems requiring novel approaches.
