Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a Senior Statistical Modeler to design and implement analytics and AI solutions across the risk domain. This role independently executes complex analytical work, translating well-defined problems into scalable ML solutions along the full modeling lifecycle.

The team emphasizes AI-forward practices, collaborating with engineering, product, and platform teams and communicating insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven Data Science experience; master's degree may substitute for part of experience.
• Experience applying machine learning and statistical techniques to real-world problems.
• Hands-on experience developing, evaluating, and iterating on predictive and ML models.
• Experience evaluating model performance using statistical and ML metrics and validation techniques.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data at scale.
• Proficiency in Python and/or R using data science libraries (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch).
• Experience with SQL and relational or cloud-based data platforms.
• Hands-on experience developing and running DS/AI workloads in cloud environments such as AWS and Azure.
• Exposure to AI frameworks and tools, including LLM-based solutions and retrieval-augmented workflows.
• Experience training or evaluating neural networks as part of ML solutions.
• Experience applying software engineering best practices to DS codebases (testing, CI, version control).
• Ability to independently execute complex analytical work within defined scope.
• Clear and effective communicator for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities
