Job summary

Qualifications

• Professional application development work experience (not entry-level).
• Hands-on development experience in Python and/or Java.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based solutions for reinsurance data processing, automation, reporting, and deal onboarding support.
• Build and support integrations across systems and data platforms to improve data quality and availability.
• Contribute to AI and LLM initiatives by applying modern technologies to business solutions.
• Translate requirements into system specifications and technical designs.
• Provide strong customer service to internal and external partners.
• Respond to production issues and support the systems during core hours, with occasional after-hours as needed.
