Job summary

NVIDIA seeks an accomplished software engineering leader to define and drive the multi‑year vision for IT infrastructure automation and self‑service platforms. You’ll set direction across Ansible AWX Salt and related tools, apply AI to configuration management, and stay hands‑on to tackle critical scaling challenges.

You will architect secure, scalable integrations across CMDB, secrets, observability, and data systems while guiding teams across networks, storage, and compute domains.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive software engineering experience delivering complex platforms.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise configuration management or infrastructure automation tools.
• Hands-on expertise in Go, Python, Java, APIs, concurrency, distributed systems, and performance engineering.
• Strong Linux, Kubernetes, containers, cloud and hybrid infra, CI/CD, and IaC experience.
• Experience building enterprise data and automation pipelines with Databricks or similar platforms.
• Proven track record architecting large-scale infra platforms across teams/clouds.
• Ability to set strategy, drive implementation, and influence across organizations.
• Excellent communication and technical leadership to mentor teams.

Responsibilities

• Define multi-year technical vision and architecture for IT infra automation and self-service platforms.
• Set technical direction for configuration management with Ansible AWX Salt and related tools.
• Drive AI integration into configuration management including drift, compliance, and remediation.
• Remain hands-on by prototyping, reviewing critical code, and solving scaling challenges.
• Build secure, scalable integrations across CMDB, secrets, observability, and data systems.
• Lead configuration management strategy across networks, storage, and compute domains.
• Ensure platforms meet availability, performance, security, DR, and operational support.
• Mentor senior staff, raise standards, and guide architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with leadership to translate business challenges into technical roadmaps.
