Job summary

Marvin is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack, AI-Native) in a hybrid model (Denver/LA). You will own features end-to-end in a TypeScript/Next.js stack, integrating AI into product experiences and developer workflows.

You will ship LLM-powered experiences, manage data sensitivity and observability, and mentor teammates while elevating testing practices. The role emphasizes building with AI, handling health data responsibly, and collaborating with design, clinical, and partner-facing

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production web applications with TypeScript/React/Node
• Experience with Next.js is a strong plus
• Relational data modeling with Prisma and Postgres
• Cloud deployment on AWS and containerization with Docker
• Solid testing habit across unit, component, and end-to-end (Vitest/Storybook/Cypress/Playwright)
• Ability to collaborate with design, clinical, and partner-facing teams

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end across Next.js/React/TypeScript app, Prisma/Postgres backend, and AWS infrastructure
• Extend AI coach and build LLm-powered member experiences: retrieval over benefits data, structured extraction, guided flows
• Design evaluation and observability for AI features to monitor quality and reliability
• Advance AI-assisted development practices: agent instructions, reusable skills, hooks, MCP integrations
• Handle PHI data responsibly with boundaries, redaction, audit trails, and vendor data agreements
• Review code and mentor teammates, raising testing and reliability standards
