Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Senior Developer to join the Good Sam AI team, focused on building new applications at extreme speed using AI tools like Claude. You’ll direct, prompt, review, and harden AI-generated code to ship fast without sacrificing quality, working with a small squad shipping new apps in days.

You’ll translate requirements into precise prompts and specs, prototype rapidly, and ensure code quality with strong engineering fundamentals.

Qualifications

• Strong full-stack development experience with backend focus.
• Proficiency with SQL/MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle.
• Experience with Git or other version-control systems.
• Experience directing AI coding assistants (Claude/Claude Code/GitHub Copilot).
• Demonstrated skill in prompt engineering and writing technical specs for AI tools.
• Ability to operate in a fast, iteration-heavy delivery model.

Responsibilities

• Write, refactor, and test AI-generated code across the full stack.
• Translate product requirements into prompts and instructions for AI agents.
• Prototype, build, and ship new apps in days within War Room sprints.
• Review and harden AI-produced code for security, performance, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and engineers to unblock AI work.
• Maintain architecture and integration standards while delivering quickly.
