Job summary

Snowflake is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to defend endpoints across Windows, macOS, and Linux in a multi-cloud, multi-SaaS environment. You will deploy, maintain, and scale security tooling (EDR, DLP, MDM, secure browsers) and drive threat detection and remediation with zero-trust principles.

You will build automation with AI-assisted development, partner with Security, IT, and Product teams, and contribute to policy creation and incident response.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in information security, such as security engineering, detection, threat intelligence, or incident response, with a focus on endpoint security.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, Java, C, C++, or JavaScript, plus experience using AI-assisted development.
• Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining endpoint security tools (e.g., EDR, DLP, MDM, secure browsers) across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Solid understanding of operating systems, network protocols, application platforms, and endpoint security concepts and best practices.
• Experience owning well-scoped technical projects from design through delivery with limited supervision.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, maintain, and scale endpoint security solutions across a multi-cloud, multi-SaaS environment.
• Build automation and tooling with software engineering and AI to reduce toil and speed response.
• Monitor security events, investigate incidents, and build detection and prevention controls.
• Run risk and threat analyses on the endpoint fleet and drive remediation to resolution.
• Help write and roll out security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Collaborate with Security, Engineering, IT, and Product to implement secure practices.
• Share knowledge through reviews and documentation.
