Job summary

Branch Metrics is seeking a Senior AI DevOps & Reliability Engineer. You will own how software ships and runs, building delivery platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments. The role emphasizes an AI-first approach to tooling and standardization, embedding with engineering teams to raise reliability.

You’ll design and operate scalable environments, mentor engineers, and drive the DORA metrics framework. This is a remote Canada role with a competitive compensation package and benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in DevOps, platform, or infrastructure engineering in fast-scaling environments.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and AWS experience with strong automation practices.
• Proven CI/CD architecture and automated deployments using GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities

• Design and expand deployment automation for on-demand, continuous releases.
• Establish release practices, tracking, and guardrails for teams.
• Increase automation in production paths and reduce manual steps.
• Define CI/CD pipeline standards and quality gates.
• Create environments per branch/PR and tear down after.
• Develop delivery agents and Claude Code skills for AI-driven pipelines.
• Champion IaC with Terraform/CloudFormation and secure deployments.
• Collaborate with engineering on alerting, SLOs, and runbooks.
