Job summary

Arlo Technologies in Milpitas, CA, is seeking a Senior Developer to build an autonomous coding agent that writes, tests, reviews, and ships code. You’ll work at the intersection of software engineering and applied AI, shaping how we automate core development tasks and integrate with our existing tooling.

You’ll design the agent's context layer, leverage LLMs, and build scalable Python services powering internal developer tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong Python skills and experience with LLMs and AI workflows.
• Experience using AI coding agents as core development method.
• Solid testing discipline and CI/CD knowledge.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and IaC (Terraform, Helm).

Responsibilities

• Build and improve autonomous coding loop and agent capabilities.
• Design context layer and knowledge base for the agent.
• Leverage LLMs to automate engineering tasks.
• Build scalable Python services powering internal tooling.
• Integrate agent with GitHub, Jira, Slack, Buildkite, Confluence, AWS.
• Measure agent quality with evals and benchmarks.
• Collaborate with platform and product teams on automation opportunities.
