Job summary

Persistent is seeking a forward deployed engineer to collaborate with customers to design, build, and deploy scalable cloud, AI, and enterprise software solutions that accelerate digital transformation.

Role spans full-stack engineering, cloud platforms, DevSecOps, AI/ML, enterprise architecture, and data engineering to translate emerging tech into measurable business outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in API development, microservices, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems.
• Cloud-native multi-cloud architectures across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• CI/CD, GitOps, Terraform, Ansible, observability, Secure SDLC and release engineering.
• Hands-on AI/ML with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, and related platforms.
• Knowledge of AI orchestration and agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen).
• Prompt engineering, RAG, vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, FAISS) and Azure AI Search.
• Enterprise architecture, TOGAF/Zachman, Zero Trust, IAM, encryption, and compliance.
• Data platforms, ETL/ELT, data lakes, real-time streaming and analytics.
• Strong technical leadership translating innovation into scalable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop full-stack applications using modern web technologies and microservices.
• Build scalable, enterprise-grade platforms with multi-cloud architectures.
• Implement and improve CI/CD, GitOps, and MLOps across the lifecycle.
• Build and operationalize AI solutions spanning Generative AI and ML.
• Shape enterprise architecture and modernization initiatives with security best practices.
• Evaluate and prototype emerging technologies via PoCs and AI transformation efforts.
• Enable AI analytics and BI through modern data platforms and real-time pipelines.
