American Electric Power (AEP) seeks a Sr Architect Staff for Customer Digital Solutions in Columbus, OH. You will define and govern the technology architecture, AI-enabled delivery, and multi-year roadmaps tying business strategy to engineering execution across web, mobile, chat, and call-center platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering/IS or related field.
• Approximately 12+ years of technology leadership experience.
• Experience defining AI-enabled delivery across planning, architecture, and operations.

Responsabilités

• Define and govern the AI‑Driven Development Lifecycle (AI‑DLC) across inception, construction, deployment, operations, and learning.
• Lead portfolio-wide architecture decisions with product, engineering, security, DevSecOps, and operations partners.
• Establish architecture guardrails, patterns, quality gates, and human decision points for safe AI-enabled delivery.
• Drive multi-year roadmap and modernization across web, mobile, chat, and call-center platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated, observable, and secure customer experiences.
