Apple Inc. seeks an Analog Layout Automation Engineer for the Silicon Engineering Group (SEG) to drive automation and AI/ML-driven optimization across AMS layouts, including SerDes, PLLs, and sensors.

You will convert concepts into silicon, review floor plans, run verifications, and pursue data-driven design insights with cross-functional teams. You will leverage advanced CAD tools (Cadence Virtuoso, Innovus) and scripting to automate tasks, improve workflows, and deliver high-performance,

Qualifications

• BS degree required; minimum 10 years industry experience.
• Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, Perl, TCL, Shell or SKILL.
• Experience designing analog and mixed-signal layouts in deep-submicron CMOS/FinFET.
• Ability to automate layout tasks, flows, and quality checks using CAD tools.

Responsabilités

• Convert design concepts into silicon by collaborating with circuit designers.
• Create high-performance analog/mixed-signal layouts with attention to device matching.
• Review floor plans and analyze circuits; run LVS/DRC/ERC verifications.
