Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Application Designer and Developer to design and deliver user interfaces across mobile, web, and tablet platforms. You will create software components that integrate with upstream and downstream systems to meet business needs.

You will design, develop, and test scalable software in an Agile environment, collaborating with clients and teammates to ensure high-quality outcomes. Some travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically, no less than 2 - 4 years relevant experience.
• Experience building successful production scalable software systems preferred.
• Programming languages: 3-5+ years of experience with Java or C#.
• Frameworks: 3-5+ years of experience with Spring Boot, .Net or .Net Core
• Nice to have: Experience with AWS or GCP
• A solid grounding in Computer Science fundamentals.
• Experience with unit testing or TDD.
• A team player possessing strong communication skills with staff at all levels.
• You are a self- and quick learner, regardless of the languages and technologies used.
• Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with clients to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that the final product meets their needs.
• Designing and developing user interfaces that are not only functional but also enhance user experience.
• Writing clean, maintainable code and creating specifications that support business objectives.
• Regular travel may be required to meet with clients, providing you with the opportunity to engage directly with stakeholders.
