Job summary

PingWind is seeking an AI DevOps Engineer in Rockville, MD to support AHRQ's AI/ML strategy. You will ensure reliability of applications and infrastructure, coordinating with developers and building reusable code for rapid development.

You will lead CI pipelines, manage servers, collaborate across teams, participate in Agile ceremonies, and apply security/data protection measures. A 10+ year track record and a Bachelor's degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in AI DevOps and software engineering.
• AI/ML prototyping, testing, evaluation, performance monitoring.
• Integration and deployment of AI/ML in cloud, apps, and infra.
• Responsible AI, information security, privacy, and risk management.
• 10+ years building software, managing libraries, and build issues.
• 10+ years with databases and web technologies (HTML, XML, JSON, HTTP, DNS).
• 10+ years of experience with OS (Windows/Linux) and scripting languages (Ruby, Shell, Perl, Bash, PowerShell, Python).
• 10+ years of experience with version control (Git, TFS, CVS, SVN).
• 10+ years configuring and supporting web servers (Apache, Nginx, Java containers).
• 10+ years in Cloud Build/Release Engineering and DevOps (AWS, Azure).
• 10+ years with AWS services (EC2, S3, CloudFront, etc.).
• 10+ years Linux/Unix system tools and incident resolution.

Responsibilities

• Create and support effective continuous integration pipelines.
• Install, upgrade, troubleshoot, and manage servers and networks.
• Collaborate with groups to manage all systems including DNS, VM patches, deployment, and incident management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in requirement development activities.
• Develop reusable code to automate processes and enable rapid development.
• Monitor infrastructure and application performance; optimize code.
• Participate in Agile scrum ceremonies and adhere to product roadmap.
• Provide cross training and mentorship on industry standards and best practices.
