Job summary

Digital Links Inc. seeks a Senior AI Developer to lead the design, development, integration, and deployment of secure and scalable AI-enabled applications for Federal Government missions. The role requires delivering production-ready apps, APIs, and human-in-the-loop solutions from approved AI models.

Based in Washington, DC, the position involves 3 days onsite and close collaboration with software engineers, data scientists, cybersecurity teams, and product owners in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• 3+ years of professional software development with AI-enabled apps.
• Proficient in Python or similar languages.
• Experience with REST APIs, databases, Git, CI/CD.
• Hands-on with LLMs, Generative AI, RAG, NLP, or document intelligence.
• Experience designing and integrating AI into production apps.
• Secure coding and application security knowledge.
• Experience in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop full-stack AI apps, APIs, microservices, dashboards, and workflow automations.
• Integrate LLMs, Generative AI, RAG pipelines, NLP, classification models, and document intelligence.
• Build AI backend services with vector stores, data platforms, and cloud services.
• Develop accessible applications meeting Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 Level A/AA.
• Implement human-in-the-loop capabilities with review queues, approvals, and audit trails.
• Design and implement secure AI solutions with prompt-injection protection and audit logging.
• Develop modular, secure code with Git, automated testing, and CI/CD.
• Create unit, integration, API, regression, performance, security, and accessibility tests.
• Support production deployments, monitoring, incident response, and improvements.
