Stellix is seeking a Senior AI Developer to design, develop, integrate, deploy, and support AI solutions across diverse business and engineering use cases. The ideal candidate will work with Python, APIs, data pipelines, and modern web stacks, thrive in cross-functional teams, and contribute to architecture and best practices.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Data Science, AI/ML, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python and software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with AI/ML libraries and generative AI technologies.
• Experience building APIs, data pipelines, and integration of AI capabilities.
• Understanding of vector retrieval, embeddings, and semantic search.

Role Summary

The Senior AI Developer is responsible for designing developing integrating deploying and supporting artificial intelligence solutions across a broad range of business engineering and customer use cases The role supports the full AI solution lifecycle from research and prototyping through production deployment optimization and scale The individual will work with machine learning generative AI intelligent automation agentic AI and emerging technologies to deliver secure reliable maintainable and reusable enterprise AI solutions This role is not limited to a specific technology platform or use case and requires the ability to adapt as AI technologies customer needs and business requirements evolve

Qualifications & Technical Skills

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Data Science Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning Computer Engineering Software Engineering or a related technical field
• Strong proficiency in Python with a solid foundation in software engineering and application development
• Strong understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning including generative AI and emerging AI technologies
• Experience with or knowledge of commonly used AIML libraries and frameworks
• Understanding of AI agents intelligent automation information retrieval embeddings semantic search and vector based data retrieval
• Experience developing and integrating APIs backend services databases data pipelines and AIML capabilities into applications
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as SQL Server PostgreSQL or equivalent technologies
• Proficiency with Git and source control practices in a collaborative software development environment
• Experience with or exposure to additional enterprise development technologies such as CNET
• Experience with web application development including JavaScriptTypeScript and modern frameworks such as React is preferred
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker application deployment and environment configuration and troubleshooting
• Understanding of cloud on premises and hybrid environments and considerations for deploying and operating AI solutions
• Understanding of production software and AI considerations including performance scalability reliability monitoring security testing and maintainability

Compensation

This position offers a base salary range of 135000 to 160000 based on experience and qualifications The role is also eligible for a variable compensation plan The posted salary range represents a good faith estimate of the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience skills qualifications internal equity and business needs

On Site Requirements

This position requires a full on site presence 5 days per week during the first 46 months Following that period the role will be on site four days per week including Monday Wednesday and Thursday with the fourth on site day alternating between Tuesday or Friday depending on business needs Must be currently authorized to work in the United States
