Job summary

Huxley is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build AI-powered developer tooling. You will design backend services in Go, integrate AI workflows, and scale systems across cloud infrastructure.

You’ll work with React/TypeScript frontend, collaborate with product/design/engineering, own projects from design to deployment, and drive reliability and performance in production. This is a highly visible role shaping next-gen developer experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating production software systems.
• Hands-on Go development experience.
• Frontend experience with React and TypeScript.
• Exposure to AI, LLM-powered applications, agent frameworks, or autonomous workflows.
• Experience integrating with APIs and designing distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of cloud environments and production infrastructure.
• Experience with AWS and containerized environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and build production-grade backend services primarily using Go.
• Develop and enhance systems that support AI-assisted and autonomous software development workflows.
• Improve agent orchestration, tool execution, context management, streaming interactions, and long-running processes.
• Build integrations between AI systems, development environments, infrastructure platforms, and engineering tools.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver impactful features.
• Own projects from design through deployment and iteration.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
• Improve system reliability, scalability, observability, and operational efficiency.
