Job summary

MathCo is seeking a senior technical leader to own end-to-end fulfilment and delivery of AI and data engagements for Bay Area clients. You will direct the engineers, data scientists, and consultants staffed on engagements, ensuring technical quality, timelines, and delivery standards at a high technical bar.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in AI/ML or data engineering with delivery leadership.
• Proven track record owning technical delivery for enterprise clients.
• Strong presentation of designs to senior stakeholders with minimal oversight.
• Experience mentoring engineers and data scientists on client engagements.
• Retail/consumer exposure is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical fulfilment and delivery of AI and data engagements.
• Lead engineers, data scientists, and consultants to meet quality and timelines.
• Be the senior technical accountability point for client stakeholders.
• Validate feasibility and scope with sales at solutioning stage; own handoff.
• Translate client requirements into data architecture, ML/AI modeling, and cloud delivery.
• Establish delivery governance across concurrent engagements.
• Mentor junior and mid-level technical staff; stay current on GenAI/LLM trends.
