Job summary

Capgemini seeks a Lead Data Scientist to advance predictive modeling, personalization, recommender systems and optimization, including GenAI and responsible AI practices. You will join a multidisciplinary AI team with access to diverse data sources to deliver AI-powered solutions.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field
• 10+ years in AI/ML/Data Science/Analytics or related technical fields
• Experience in supervised/unsupervised learning, predictive modeling, recommender systems, deep learning
• Experience with NLP frameworks (Transformers), GenAI, and LLMs
• Experience formulating and solving optimization problems
• Knowledge of model evaluation, tuning, deployment, scalability
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy AI-driven solutions across use cases such as customer engagement, personalization, recommendations, decision optimization and insights
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and researchers to translate needs into AI capabilities
