Job summary

Capgemini is hiring a Data Scientist for an onsite contract in Philadelphia, PA. You will help build algorithmic decision-making systems spanning ML, neural networks, MLOps, and GenAI, with hands-on work across ETL, data pipelines, and knowledge graphs.

You’ll join a data-centric culture and collaborate in an Agile/DevOps environment, educating teams on AI and analytics while delivering measurable business value.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of proven experience in Data Science, ML, or related fields.
• Strong expertise in Python, SQL, and modern ML frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn
• Experience with MLOps tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, and Airflow for deployment and monitoring
• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, and scalable data engineering
• Strong understanding of probability, statistics, and experimental design including A/B Testing
• Experience with Agile and DevOps practices
• Experience with knowledge graphs and integration into AI/ML pipelines, including Neo4j
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and Generative AI technologies (GPT, BERT, LLaMA, Claude)
• Background in Retail and Personalization Web Technologies
• Proficiency in BI tools and data visualization
• Experience with recommendation models, semantic search, LLM search, and candidate ranking
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/Math/Engineering or related field

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of algorithmic decision-making at scale within Group Digital.
• Craft and implement machine learning models and neural networks, with MLOps for deployment.
• Develop and optimize predictive and prescriptive models to extract insights.
• Apply deep learning for customer classification, profiling, segmentation, and personalization.
• Implement MLOps to deploy, monitor, and maintain ML models in production.
• Implement and tune LLMs and Generative AI for automation and engagement.
• Integrate knowledge graphs to strengthen data relationships and recommendations.
• Build robust data pipelines for large-scale ETL using SQL and cloud solutions (GCP preferred).
• Write complex SQL for ETL tasks.
• Implement CI/CD workflows to automate model training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Communicate methodologies and insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Work in an Agile/DevOps environment with cross-functional teams.
