Job summary
Alcoa is seeking aSenior AI & Data Scientist to join the global Enterprise AI & Insight Team within ITAS. This role reports to the AI Technical Lead and focuses on applying advanced AI techniques to business challenges across Operations and Enterprise functions.
You will lead the full AI solution lifecycle from data exploration to deployment, collaborating with AI/Data Engineers, analysts and stakeholders to deliver scalable, trusted AI that creates measurable value and fosters best practices
Qualifications
- Experience delivering end-to-end AI and data science solutions that drive measurable business value.
- Deep expertise in statistical modelling, ML, experimental design and model validation.
- Experience developing generative AI solutions including RAG and agentic AI; strong coding skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development and delivery of AI solutions across Operations and Enterprise.
- Translate complex business needs into scalable AI solutions with measurable value.
- Mentor junior practitioners and contribute to best-practice development.
