Job summary

Intel Corporation in Phoenix is seeking a Senior AI / Data Science Engineer to lead AI/ML and Generative AI initiatives that accelerate yield learning and process optimization in semiconductor manufacturing. You will design scalable analytics, deploy AI infrastructure, and collaborate with multiple engineering teams to apply data-driven insights across Intel Foundry Technology MDCE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a STEM-related field.
• 6+ years of industry experience in Data Science, ML, AI, or Advanced Analytics.
• 5+ years of Semiconductor industry experience with manufacturing, process, and yield challenges.
• Strong programming experience in Python and SQL including developing scalable data pipelines and production-quality analytical solutions.
• Experience leading cross-functional technical projects and driving business impact through data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of advanced AI, ML, and Generative AI solutions addressing semiconductor manufacturing and yield challenges.
• Drive adoption of AI technologies across MDCE and partner engineering teams for data-driven decisions and measurable business impact.
• Develop and deploy Large Language Model and Generative AI applications to improve engineering productivity and knowledge discovery.
• Analyze large-scale manufacturing datasets to identify yield detractors, process excursions, root causes, and optimization opportunities.
• Design scalable data pipelines and analytics frameworks to support robust manufacturing analytics.
• Collaborate with Yield Engineering, Process Integration, Manufacturing, and Technology Development teams to solve complex challenges.
• Establish best practices for AI model development, software quality, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to Intel's AI and Data Science community.
