Job summary

LanceDB in the United States is seeking a Senior Customer Success Engineer to be a trusted advisor for our most strategic customers. You will combine deep technical expertise with strong communication to enable deployment and scale of LanceDB across production workloads.

You will guide customers from onboarding through adoption and expansion, bridging product, engineering, and customer teams. Expect to own success metrics, develop enablement content, and help shape our post-sales engineering

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technical post-sales, customer success, or solutions architecture roles.
• Experience with distributed database systems or large-scale cloud-native data platforms.
• Strong Rust and Python programming skills for production-grade code.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to deploy LanceDB in production for reliability and scalability.
• Lead onboarding, architecture reviews, and guidance on configuration and integration.
• Identify adoption barriers and coordinate resolutions with product/engineering.
• Own success metrics and build dashboards to monitor health across accounts.
• Develop technical enablement materials and sample code to accelerate outcomes.
• Serve as customer advocate, relay feature requests to the roadmap and influence priorities.
• Partner with sales engineering for technical evaluations, proofs-of-concept, and demos.
• Contribute to internal tooling and playbooks for the customer success organization.
