Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a hands-on Staff Data Engineer to lead the design and deployment of data infrastructure powering AI-driven security products. You will guide LLM integration, agentic workflows, and scalable data services at exabyte scale, mentoring teams and setting DevSecOps standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in data/platform engineering, strong programming skills, and a track record of delivering production-grade AI systems in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in Data Engineering/Platform Engineering, with at least 3 years focused on AI/ML platforms at massive scale.
• Hands-on experience in LLM engineering (fine-tuning, prompt engineering, deployment) and RAG
• Proven track record of designing and delivering large-scale distributed systems (sharding, partitioning, concurrency)
• Excellent code quality, performance, and testing discipline
• Experience with AI-enabled secure code development
• Prior experience in a Staff level engineering role demonstrating leadership and mentorship
• Proven ability to apply AI to enhance decision-making and workflows across teams

Responsibilities

• Write code daily and deliver production-ready data infrastructure for LLMs and AI platforms.
• Architect, implement, and optimize data platforms and pipelines for LLMs, neural networks, and agentic systems at exabyte scale.
• Drive adoption of agentic workflows and harnessing techniques for autonomous data-driven security features.
• Lead by example with scalable, fault-tolerant data solutions and rapid iteration.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Product Managers, and other engineers to productionize research prototypes.
• Own end-to-end lifecycle of critical data services from development through monitoring.
