Job summary

Oracle is seeking an AI & Data Architect to define the long-term architecture for Oracle-wide AI and data platform capabilities, anchored on OCI as the core cloud foundation. You will design scalable generative AI, agentic AI, and RAG-powered systems, integrating with Oracle databases, analytics, and Fusion Cloud Applications.

You will collaborate with multiple engineering teams, mentor senior staff, and drive reusable patterns for secure, governed AI deployment at enterprise scale across Oracle

Qualifications

• BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Data/AI, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• 15+ years of software engineering experience, with distributed, data-intensive, or cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, APIs, event-driven systems, microservices, and multi-tenant design.
• Deep knowledge of modern AI application architecture including LLMs, embeddings, RAG, agentic systems, tooling, and observability.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases, data lakes/lakehouses, streaming, storage, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Define long-term architecture and technical strategy for Oracle-wide AI and data platform capabilities.
• Design scalable platform architectures for generative AI, agentic AI, and enterprise search.
• Establish reusable integration patterns between OCI AI services and Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications and Analytics.
• Drive semantic architecture across structured data and enterprise knowledge for reliable agent behavior.
• Define canonical APIs, schemas, and interoperability standards for agents, models, and data sources.
