Speechify, a distributed, fully remote company, is seeking a Software Engineer - AI Data to build data pipelines powering model training and AI products. You will develop high-quality datasets at scale, collaborating with AI Scientists to improve training data and support next-generation models.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of software engineering experience, strong Python and Bash skills, and a track record with production systems and data pipelines.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash in Linux environments.
• Experience building and operating production systems, ideally with data pipelines or large-scale data processing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in ambiguous environments.

Responsabilidades

• Discover new sources of audio data and build pipelines to ingest them into training datasets.
• Build and improve large-scale data-processing systems for quality, throughput, and cost.
• Collaborate with AI Scientists to improve training datasets and support next-generation models.
• Take ownership of projects from discovery through implementation and ongoing improvement.
