Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer - AI Data to join its distributed AI team and build data pipelines powering model training and next-generation AI products. You will work on datasets at petabyte scale, balancing quality, throughput, and cost while collaborating with AI scientists.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of software engineering experience, strong backend skills in Python and Bash, and hands-on experience with production data pipelines in a Linux environment.

Formación

• Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with backend development.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash in Linux environments.
• Experience building and operating production data pipelines and large-scale data processing.
• Strong problem-solving ability and ability to work independently in ambiguous environments.

Responsabilidades

• Discover new sources of audio data and build reliable pipelines for training datasets.
• Build and improve large-scale data-processing systems optimizing quality, throughput, and cost.
• Collaborate with AI scientists to improve training datasets and models.
• Own engineering projects from discovery through implementation and improvement.
