Job summary

Nscale is seeking a Senior Development Manager to drive the development of new AI data center sites across the Americas, from site control through due diligence, entitlements, permitting, and design coordination to Final Investment Decision (FID).

You will own projects end-to-end, directing external consultants, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring schedules, budgets, and risks stay on track to deliver shovel-ready, powered sites to FID.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 6+ years in data center or infrastructure development.
• Experience advancing complex projects from site selection to construction.
• Experience with budgets and schedules.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development projects from site control to FID.
• Develop budgets, schedules, and plans to drive speed to market.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Energy, Design, Preconstruction, and Sales.
• Manage external consultants and track milestones and risks.
• Engage with landowners, utilities, and authorities.
