Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking a qualified IT audit & controls professional to lead continuous testing of AI governance. You will prove controls work, manage the evidence store, and map controls to SOX ITGC, NIST AI RMF, and ISO 42001 while coordinating remediation with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 4–7+ years in IT audit or compliance, a strong regulatory mindset, and the ability to interact with internal stakeholders and auditors. Base pay is substantial with bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience or advanced degree with 3 years of related experience.
• 4–7+ years IT audit, controls testing, compliance assurance, or risk in tech or regulated environments.
• Experience with SOX ITGC, NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and run continuous testing proving every AI control works.
• Own evidence store proving controls exist and are producible on demand.
• Catch drift of controls as platforms or tech shift.
• Map AI controls to SOX ITGC, NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001 and maintain crosswalk.
• Support audit remediation tracking with named owners and due dates.
• Partner with AI Trust & Safety, Cyber, Legal and AI Steering Committee.
• Maintain independence of assurance by separating from engineering teams.
