Job summary

ADP is hiring a Senior Lead AI Content Strategist to define voice standards, govern AI content, and write UI copy and scripts across the product. You will translate voice into concrete prompts and collaborate with ML/engineering to ensure high quality AI outputs.

You will audit existing content, build a living voice specification, and lead governance as the product scales, partnering with UX, product, and marketing to ensure consistent brand voice.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of content writing across UX, copy, technical, and narrative writing.
• Experience integrating GenAI/LLM tooling into workflows and staying current with developments.
• Experience defining product voice and tone standards and driving adoption.
• Experience writing for conversational or AI-powered products (chat interfaces, LLM flows).
• Ability to translate voice principles into concrete writing rules and examples.
• Experience partnering with ML/engineering on AI output quality and prompt specs.
• Strong communication skills and advocacy for content quality.
• Comfort in ambiguous, early-stage environments and building from scratch.
• Bonus: experience writing sales/marketing/purchase-flow content.
• Bonus: experience in regulated domains (payroll, tax, HR, fintech).

Responsibilities

• Audit and inventory the product’s content and define voice standards.
• Develop a comprehensive content style guide with examples for personas.
• Define a precise voice specification for AI systems and translate principles into rules.
• Write and own UI labels, microcopy, flows, guidance, notifications, and purchase content.
• Establish governance with review/approval processes and debt tracking.
• Partner with UX design, product, engineering, ML, and marketing to align voice.
• Contribute to QA and elevate content quality upstream in the SDLC.
