Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a Senior AI Compute Engineer to deploy and validate AI compute and HPC infrastructure at customer sites in the United States. You will lead planning, implementation, and handover activities with partners and internal teams.

You must be proficient in Linux administration, scripting, and cluster management, with travel up to 30%. Equity and benefits accompany the base salary package for this level.

Qualifications

• 8+ years deploying AI compute and HPC infrastructure.
• Strong Linux admin, kernel, boot procedures, and performance tuning.
• Experience with schedulers (SLURM, LSF, UGE) and bare-metal provisioning.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE or equivalent.
• Proficient in scripting (Bash, Python, Ansible).
• Willing to travel up to 30% in the United States.
• Experience with benchmarking tools (HPL, NCCL, MLPerf) and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and validate AI Compute/HPC infrastructure in Linux environments for customers.
• Serve as domain expert with partners during planning through implementation.
• Provide handover docs and knowledge transfers for rollout.
• Feedback to internal/partner teams (open bugs, workarounds, improvements).
