Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect focused on AI to advise and lead technical design for key decision-makers. You will guide customers’ business strategies, maximize Akamai products, and share expertise across teams on AI and emerging tech.

You will identify AI workload opportunities, design Akamai Edge/Compute architectures, and collaborate with data scientists and developers to ensure ongoing AI performance and success.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related field
• Proficiency with scripting languages and development to create automation on platforms
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Strong communication and client-facing advisory capabilities
• Experience guiding AI and cloud/edge computing initiatives

Responsibilities

• Identify customer AI and enterprise workload opportunities with sales teams
• Design and implement Akamai Edge, Compute, and Security solutions for advanced AI workloads
• Guide customers in selecting AI frameworks, tools and technologies
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers and stakeholders for successful AI solutions
• Lead innovation by shaping product roadmaps and partnering with Product Management
• Provide technical thought leadership and educate peers on best practices and trends
• Establish Akamai's AI and cloud/edge leadership to support business growth
