Job summary

nLogic seeks a Principal AI/Cloud Engineer to lead AI/ML, cloud architecture, automation, and systems modernization in a defense and technology environment at Cherry Point.

In this role you will provide technical leadership for design, deployment, and sustainment of scalable AI and cloud solutions supporting mission-critical operations and enterprise modernization, while mentoring teams and ensuring security compliance.

Qualifications

• Active security clearance or ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance.
• Experience designing, building, testing and deploying AI/ML solutions.
• Experience integrating software engineering and data science.
• Experience with Python, SQL and related tools.
• Experience deploying cloud architectures on AWS/Azure/GCP or equivalent.
• Experience with cloud migration and automation.
• Experience supporting security compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, testing, and deployment of AI/ML solutions.
• Architect and implement cloud-based environments for AI and enterprise apps.
• Provide technical leadership for AI and cloud engineering initiatives.
• Develop production-ready AI systems and lead cloud deployment/modernization.
• Support migration of on-prem systems to cloud environments.
• Design and implement automation to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Support security compliance and monitor performance of systems.
• Provide guidance and troubleshooting across engineering teams.
