Job summary

Ampcus Inc. in Chantilly, VA, seeks an AI Senior Business Analyst to support the customer’s AI program with business analysis, product research, piloting, and Agile delivery. You will identify high-value AI use cases and collaborate with joint teams to accelerate AI capability adoption.

The role requires strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and SAFe/Agile experience to drive planning, backlogs, and documentation for production-ready AI solutions.

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in business analysis and Agile environments.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, use case development and enterprise implementation.
• Experience with vendor management, pilot coordination, and R&D activities.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies (including SAFe) and sprint planning.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with business process mapping and reengineering.
• Ability to lead meetings/working sessions and deliver client-ready artifacts and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• AI Systems research, evaluation and piloting; track AI-related products and coordinate requirements.
• Agile sprint team support: update backlogs, plan sprints, and deliver release notes.
• AI R&D: host discovery sessions, map systems, propose AI solutions, and develop proofs-of-concept.
• Organize PI planning and prioritization to select use cases for production; support procurement decisions.
