Job summary

Lockheed Martin's Artificial Intelligence Center (LAIC) seeks a technical leader to accelerate responsible AI and autonomy adoption across LM. You will serve as strategic liaison between LAIC and The Lighthouse, guiding planning and integration of AI into events and customer engagements, solving defense challenges with executable AI concepts.

The role is fully onsite in Suffolk, VA, requires active Top Secret clearance with TS eligibility, and involves collaboration across engineering,

Qualifications

10+ years of relevant experience in DoD missions and technology transitions.
Experience with DoD future capabilities, experimentation, wargaming, and analysis.
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and engage senior leaders.
Active Top Secret clearance or eligibility for TS/SCI.

Responsibilities

Lead AI & autonomy adoption across Lockheed Martin and Lighthouse initiatives.
Translate military needs into AI concepts, demos, and transition opportunities.
Provide direction to multidisciplinary teams of engineers, operators, and SMEs.
Engage with government, industry, and academia to advance AI standards and practices.
Shape AI/ autonomy research aligned to customer needs and LM objectives.
Present technical recommendations to senior leaders.
