Job summary

Humana is seeking a Lead AI Automation Engineer to provide hands-on technical leadership for AI-enabled automation across Data Governance. You will design, build, and productionize automations, agentic workflows, and intelligent process orchestration.

Focus on reliability, security, and scalable deployment while mentoring engineers and establishing reusable patterns. You will work with AI/ML, deterministic logic, APIs, and low-code platforms to deliver governance solutions, with strong

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, AI, or related field.
5+ years of experience in software engineering, application development, automation engineering, platform engineering, or enterprise systems integration.
2+ years hands-on experience developing AI/ML, generative AI, intelligent automation, or advanced automation solutions, with recent LLM-enabled or agentic work.

Responsibilities

Lead technical design and hands-on development of AI-enabled automations and agentic workflows.
Mentor engineers and establish reusable engineering patterns.
Drive automation opportunities from concept through secure, scalable production deployment.
Define evaluation, testing, monitoring, and quality controls for AI automations.
