Job summary

Venture Global LNG is seeking a Principal AI Engineer to serve as the senior technical authority for AI engineering. You will own architecture, patterns, and standards for AI agents and ML systems across cloud and on-prem environments, while prototyping and hardening the most complex components.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years in software, data or ML engineering with leadership as a senior IC.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the reference architecture for AI agent development and deployment across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Establish engineering standards, design patterns, and best practices for agentic systems and model serving.
• Lead design and hands-on implementation of complex, high-risk components of the AI platform.
• Architect self-hosted open-weight LLM solutions with tuning, quantization and inference optimization.
