Job summary

Vuori seeks a Principal, AI Architect and Governance to act as the senior technical authority for its AI platform. You will define system design, governance guardrails, and enterprise standards to ensure secure, scalable AI across the organization.

You will work with engineers and business leaders to translate AI advances into pragmatic patterns, guide platform choices, and raise the quality of AI development with reusable patterns and design reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in software/ platform engineering or technology architecture.
• Experience owning enterprise AI or data platform architecture at scale.
• Proven ability to define technical standards and drive adoption across large teams.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and modern AI infrastructure patterns.

Responsibilities

• Define AI platform design, governance, and enterprise architecture standards.
• Lead evaluations of AI platforms and tooling based on performance, cost, security, and fit.
• Raise architectural capabilities through reviews, patterns, and reusable components.
• Provide guidance to Legal, Security, and Data leaders on platform choices and risk.
• Partner with executives to align AI architecture with business priorities.
