Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Senior Technologist to lead design and delivery of scalable software, AI models, and multi-language solutions across platforms.

You will craft reusable architectures, mentor teams, and drive high-quality code with a focus on cloud-native patterns and responsible AI practices.

The role requires collaboration with data scientists, engineers, and product managers in a fast-paced enterprise setting, with openness to relocation and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Core development & architecture experience.
• Analysis and Design skills with experience in core development, design & architect experience, implement design patterns, architecture patterns.
• Experience in developing and applying generative AI models.
• Understanding of machine learning fundamentals, deep learning architectures, and NLP.
• Experience in programming languages like Python and familiarity with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Design, develop, and deploy generative AI models for various applications, such as text generation, image creation, and code synthesis.
• Fine-tune pre-trained LLMs for specific tasks and domains, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with business goals.
• Manage the entire AI development lifecycle, from data pre-processing and model training to evaluation, optimization, and deployment.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to define project requirements and integrate AI solutions seamlessly.
• Stay up to date on the latest advancements in generative AI research and contribute to continuous improvement of AI capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate project requirements and use cases to deliver high-quality design, frameworks, and production-ready code work products.
• Design technology frameworks for complex scenarios, develop design patterns and reference implementations.
• Deliver high-quality code across applications, databases, and integrations.
• Optimize code, debug complex routines, and develop code generators and pilot implementations for reusable components.
• Work closely with other teams to ensure alignment on project goals and technology implementations.
• Provide technical guidance to peers and help maintain delivery consistency and code quality.
• Identify PoCs for emerging technologies and independently develop PoCs for new modules.
• Provide inputs for multi-technology and multi-language high-risk deployments.
• Evaluate and implement technical services to meet QoS requirements, aligning with KPIs.
• Create reusable assets and deliver defect-free, impactful code to achieve quality benchmarks.
