Job summary

Infosys in Charlotte, NC seeks a Senior Technologist to lead design and deployment of scalable AI solutions, including generative models, ML workflows, and multi‑language architectures. You will drive architecture decisions, mentor teams, and deliver high‑quality, production‑ready code.

The role emphasizes hands‑on leadership, PoC delivery, collaboration with data scientists and product managers, and staying ahead of AI trends to meet QoS KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required (or three years of progressive experience in lieu of every year of education).
• Experience in developing and applying generative AI models and ML/NLP.
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Ability to design scalable architectures, review code, and drive high-quality delivery.
• Experience in fast-paced agile environments and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable architectures and reusable assets across complex AI projects.
• Develop and deploy generative AI models for diverse applications (text, image, code synthesis).
• Lead PoCs for new technologies and ensure timely delivery with QoS targets.
• Mentor peers to improve delivery quality and architectural excellence.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to translate requirements into production-ready solutions.
• Stay current with AI advancements and promote responsible AI practices.
