Job summary

State of Ohio – Job and Family Services (JFS) is seeking a Senior AI Architect to guide enterprise architecture, technology modernization, and cloud strategy across multiple agencies. Qualifications

• 5–7 years of IT experience, including EA and Solution Architecture
• Experience leading AI implementations involving Generative AI, RPA, and Virtual Assistants
• Experience providing EA governance for cloud modernization initiatives
• Solution architecture experience with AWS, GCP, and/or Azure
• Exposure to multiple technologies, platforms, and processing environments
• Experience developing technology strategies, roadmaps, business capability models, and customer journey maps
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, leadership, and consulting skills
• Ability to evaluate emerging technologies, conduct PoC initiatives, and recommend architectural solutions

Responsibilities

• Lead business and IT strategic planning with senior leadership and subject matter experts
• Develop IT strategies, technology standards, architectural guidelines, and modernization roadmaps
• Plan and lead PoC initiatives using emerging technologies
• Research market trends and evaluate technologies, tools, risks, costs, benefits, and implementation options
• Provide architectural guidance for Generative AI, Conversational UI, RPA, Virtual Assistants, and cloud services
• Develop business capability models, customer journey maps, and EA artifacts
• Support cloud modernization and digital transformation initiatives
• Collaborate with business units and IT teams to align technology solutions with goals
• Facilitate cross-business-unit solutions and communicate architecture recommendations
• Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions on tech strategies and emerging technologies
• Support project reporting (status, risks, issues, benefits)
